How to measure your dog or cat
Snugly wrap your soft measuring tape around the circumference of your dog's rib cage, just behind the front legs. To see this in action, check our girth measurement guide video.
How to Find Your Size
Use our Harness Finder to find a recommended size of PerfectFit Harness. This option is ideal for fully grown & non-mixed breed dogs.
If your dog is a mixed breed, still growing, between sizes, or has a unique shape, contact our team of sizing experts. Send us:
- Your dog's girth measurement
- Clear photos of your dog (side view & from above)
- Your dog's breed or mix of breeds
- Whether your dog pulls on the lead
- Your dog's age and weight (if known)
Pulling
For strong pullers, we choose a wider harness to distribute force more evenly, maximizing comfort. While not an anti-pull device, the PerfectFit can significantly improve pulling behaviours.

What comes in the selected harness set?
Top piece
Sits across the top of the shoulders on your dog's back to allow full freedom of movement and a comfortable, secure fit.
Front piece
Sits on your dog's breast plate, down the chest to help prevent twisting and keep the harness balanced and stable.
Girth piece
Wraps around the ribcage to provide security, adjustability, and a snug, escape-resistant fit.
Base piece
A front and girth combined into one piece, which sits on the breast plate & runs around the rib cage of your dog.

I always use Perfect Fit harnesses for my dogs as they are well made and last a long time (as long as your pooch doesn't pile on the pounds and needs a new one of course). Customer service is fantastic and if you're unsure of what size you need they are really helpful and will also accept a return if order the wrong size. Great company to use, highly recommend

Thank you for your lovely review, Angela :) You pup looks very smart in the pink!
Absolutely brilliant harness, my Chorkie puppy is tiny currently if she gets cold the only thing that fits her is a socks so you can imagine how small she is. The harness fits her well and she hasn’t been able to escape it. It doesn’t sit on her throat either which is vital in these smaller breeds. Absolutely worth the money
Aw, your little one looks very smart in her new harness, Laura! Thank you for sharing and taking the time to leave us such a lovely review :)
Perfect fit literally!! I’ve always used perfect fit for my Japanese chin and recently got a pup Japanese chin and needed a super tiny harness and perfect fit haven’t failed me with the right one for her

This fits my dog great! I do wish the neck was adjustable but the sizing calculator led me to choosing this and it truly does fit perfectly.
This is such a fun pattern! My dog looks great in it!
I love how vibrant this top piece is. The words are a bit small but I think the color and text combined with my leash flag truly lets people know to give my dog some space.
Such a pretty color and so soft!
This is a great neutral color and doesn’t dig into my dog’s body.
Love how soft it is on my poodle’s fur and how it truly is the perfect fit! The color is perfect!
Very peased with the harness base. In addition, advisor i dealt with was extremely helpful
