What comes in the selected harness set?
Top piece
Sits across the top of the shoulders on your dog's back to allow full freedom of movement and a comfortable, secure fit.
Front piece
Sits on your dog's breast plate, down the chest to help prevent twisting and keep the harness balanced and stable.
Girth piece
Wraps around the ribcage to provide security, adjustability, and a snug, escape-resistant fit.
Base piece
A front and girth combined into one piece, which sits on the breast plate & runs around the rib cage of your dog.
well named because it’s a perfect fit.. we started with the 3-piece but it was still too big for our puppy, bubba.. easy peasy, we got the x small front piece and small girth piece and gave bubba a perfect fit.. we have the larger pieces ready for when bubba grows into them.. so it will stay a perfect fit.. thanks people.. great customer service too.. joe, lyn and bubba… ❤️

I've been using Perfect Fit Harnesses for the last three years, and I genuinely wouldn't choose anything else. Between my own three dogs and all the dogs I walk professionally, I've recommended them time and time again because they really are the best harnesses I've found.
They're incredibly strong and durable, yet amazingly lightweight and soft. They never feel bulky or restrictive, and my dogs are always comfortable wearing them - even Sasha who hates wearing anything on her body! Good quality, soft harness. Easy to fit
Excellent harness: looks and feels high quality, has lots of adjustment options, wide straps with padding under the buckles, and my dog can move freely without being able to wriggle out of the harness. Fab also that you can, when undoing not only the girth straps but also one of the buckles connecting the front piece with the top piece, remove or put on the harness without having to pull it over the dog's head, as it comes away to the side if these 3 buckles are undone.
I found the website's explanations about how the right sizes are arrived at a bit sparse and was therefore confused that my dog should need a top piece in L, a girth in M, and a front piece in S. And I initially struggled to connect the girth the right way to the front piece, so (wrongly) thought I needed a larger front piece. Customer service were very helpful and promptly dispatched exchange pieces, which I didn't need in the end and which I returned.
What would be good would be a grab handle sewn onto the top piece, as my dog can be a bit difficult to catch when he's zooming around the park in herding mode.
If I were to order the harness again, I'd opt for the smaller buckles, as the large ones are really quite big.
I haven't yet washed the harness, so can't comment on how it fares in the washer.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend this product and company.
