How to measure your dog
Snugly wrap your soft measuring tape around the circumference of your dog's rib cage, just behind the front legs. To see this in action, check our girth measurement guide video.
How to Find Your Size
Use our Harness Finder to find a recommended size of PerfectFit Harness. This option is ideal for fully grown & non-mixed breed dogs.
If your dog is a mixed breed, still growing, between sizes, or has a unique shape, contact our team of sizing experts. Send us:
- Your dog's girth measurement
- Clear photos of your dog (side view & from above)
- Your dog's breed or mix of breeds
- Whether your dog pulls on the lead
- Your dog's age and weight (if known)
Pulling
For strong pullers, we choose a wider harness to distribute force more evenly, maximizing comfort. While not an anti-pull device, the PerfectFit can significantly improve pulling behaviours.

What comes in the selected harness set?
Top piece
Sits across the top of the shoulders on your dog's back to allow full freedom of movement and a comfortable, secure fit.
Front piece
Sits on your dog's breast plate, down the chest to help prevent twisting and keep the harness balanced and stable.
Girth piece
Wraps around the ribcage to provide security, adjustability, and a snug, escape-resistant fit.
Base piece
A front and girth combined into one piece, which sits on the breast plate & runs around the rib cage of your dog.

I always use Perfect Fit harnesses for my dogs as they are well made and last a long time (as long as your pooch doesn't pile on the pounds and needs a new one of course). Customer service is fantastic and if you're unsure of what size you need they are really helpful and will also accept a return if order the wrong size. Great company to use, highly recommend

Absolutely brilliant harness, my Chorkie puppy is tiny currently if she gets cold the only thing that fits her is a socks so you can imagine how small she is. The harness fits her well and she hasn’t been able to escape it. It doesn’t sit on her throat either which is vital in these smaller breeds. Absolutely worth the money

Perfect fit literally!! I’ve always used perfect fit for my Japanese chin and recently got a pup Japanese chin and needed a super tiny harness and perfect fit haven’t failed me with the right one for her

Was looking to get a bigger base for my yorkie. Sent an email and of course Jake was there to answer all of the questions and now have the size 6 which is great for Teddy now. Jake is brillant always on hand to help with any questions you have.

Probably the best customer service I have experience. The first harness didn't fit my tiny pooch that well. I sent pics of it in her, PF sent 2 additional sizes to try out, I returned the ones that didn't fit. All I had to pay for was the return post.

Great harness for a Toy Poodle that she doesn’t appear to be able to wriggle out of. Just one issue the maybe could be improved upon… the size of the clasps are very small and therefore tricky to undo. Wider webbing and larger clasps would make this item 150% Perfect
