How to measure your dog
Snugly wrap your soft measuring tape around the circumference of your dog's rib cage, just behind the front legs. To see this in action, check our girth measurement guide video.
How to Find Your Size
Use our Harness Finder to find a recommended size of PerfectFit Harness. This option is ideal for fully grown & non-mixed breed dogs.

Pulling
For strong pullers, we choose a wider harness to distribute force more evenly, maximizing comfort. While not an anti-pull device, the PerfectFit can significantly improve pulling behaviours.

What comes in the selected harness set?
Top piece
Sits across the top of the shoulders on your dog's back to allow full freedom of movement and a comfortable, secure fit.
Front piece
Sits on your dog's breast plate, down the chest to help prevent twisting and keep the harness balanced and stable.
Girth piece
Wraps around the ribcage to provide security, adjustability, and a snug, escape-resistant fit.
Base piece
A front and girth combined into one piece, which sits on the breast plate & runs around the rib cage of your dog.

Great harness soft material for comfort. Pricier than some but you get water you pay for which is a quality product

I’ve had Great Danes for 20 years, and Perfect Fit harnesses are the only ones I’ve been happy with. Danes come in a variety of body shapes but they all have deep chests and are hard to fit. The modular concept works very well, and I think I now have all the pieces in enough sizes to fit most any Dane that lands here! It’s the only harness I trust for comfort and control.

I emailed ahead because I wasn’t sure on the sizing for my dog. We had a quick reply with guidance on the type of harness and the best fit based on her measurements. Cleo loves her new harness, it’s comfortable, allows completely free movement, and fits perfectly. She’s an anxious dog, so having a harness that can be clipped on in pieces is helpful if she struggling on a particular day. The black finish is very smart and the quality is excellent. The various straps also give us the option to fit her tracker. We also like that the lead fixing rings are metal and not plastic.

I have always found the PerfectFit Team to be really helpful and this time was no exception. The front piece on my fifteen month old Labrador’s PerfectFit harness had become too tight. I emailed their helpline and was advised she would need a 40mm medium now which I ordered. Unfortunately the wrong piece was sent initially, I received a 40mm small which is what I already had, but an email soon resolved that issue and the correct part was sent out. The only moan I have is that I had to pay to return the incorrect piece, although it was the cheapest postage I could get, it wasn’t my fault the wrong piece had been sent. Thankfully Sienna’s harness now fits perfectly. I would highly recommend and most certainly will be using them again.

These harnesses are absolutely brilliant, Ive used them before and wouldn't buy anything different. Perfect for a strong dog that pulls, and the front ring is ideal for clipping to the seat belt in the car. They're very well made, and last the for ever

Well built, well fitting. Not recommended for cars, but no so called dog car harness is crash tested. The only crash tested car harness I've come across was tested in USA with a child crash test dummy, not a dummy dog. Given the quality of build I'd risk it with PerfectFit

I am delighted with my Perfect Fit dog harness and the excellent service and advice I have received from the Perfect Fit team. The harness is strong but soft and comfortable for my puppy to wear, easy to put on and quick to take off. I love the fact that as he grows I can just replace the parts on the harness that he's grown out of rather than having to replace the entire harness. Fantastic product.

I love this harness, soft and flexible and actually lightweight for the size of it. We’ve had this exact one, we bought at least 10 years ago for our old GSD and the webbing had just started to come loose (not bad for the age) still safe to use but decided to upgrade and glad we did as the technology has moved on and this one feels so much more comfortable for my dog. Highly recommend and would buy any other harness!
