Based at our UK HQ, in the heart of the Malvern Hills, the Perfect Fit Team are driven by our shared devotion to bettering dog welfare. Below you can find out a little more about each of us.
Lucy ensures the smooth running of our Accounts Department, with a keen eye for detail and a natural flair for numbers that keeps the finance side of the business running seamlessly. As a big dog lover, Lucy is always smiley and brings a real sense of warmth and joy to the office. She joined PerfectFit in 2014, and outside of work enjoys spending quality time with her special girl, Willow, her Working Cocker Spaniel.

Rhi is passionate about behaviour, and spends every spare moment working with her dog, Reggie, who can be reactive. Rhi has worked incredibly hard to understand and support Reggie’s needs, and this journey sparked a real passion for training and helping others who also own challenging dogs. She joined us in 2020, and runs all things Social Media, where she combines her love for dogs with her creativity. She particularly enjoys creating engaging, relatable dog content and sharing helpful insights to support dog owners on their own training journeys.

Since getting his first puppy, a Border Terrier called Dilys, Jake is now officially a dog person! Jake is passionate about positive work cultures, which is what led him to join our team in 2021, that and his new dog obsession. His exuberant and friendly personality lends itself perfectly to excellent customer service skills. Creativity, in the form of composing and writing music, cooking & photography, are some of the hobbies that keep Jake busy outside of work.

Gilly joined us in 2021 and is our official cat expert amongst the team! With a lifetime of customer service experience, she is passionate about connecting with customers and making a real difference to their lives. Gilly is a firm believer in the power of positive mental health, and she is convinced that dogs & cats play a significant role in this. She loves camping, vintage collections, and cooking. Despite having a real soft spot for Dachshunds, at the centre of Gilly’s world is a grumpy feline called Kirelius.

Steph joined PerfectFit in 2015 and is responsible for managing our amazing team and leading our marketing department. She is passionate about creating a positive work culture where people feel supported, valued, and inspired. Steph is also a strong advocate for kind, compassionate dog training methods, a belief that sits at the heart of everything we do at PerfectFit. Outside of work, Steph is devoted to her best buddy (and our office mascot), rescue girl Bonnie, who keeps the team entertained every day.

Nicky leads the team using her background in business management and specialism in HR. Nicky has always had an interest in animal welfare and, whilst growing up in South Africa has been involved in a range of wildlife conservation campaigns. Nicky’s focus is working with the talented staff team to help them develop and become even more excellent at what they do.

Carl joined PerfectFit in 2012 after seeing a job advertisement that involved the word ‘Dog’. As Head of Data, he can nerd out over spreadsheets and pie charts. Carl has an interest in both animal and human psychology and wellbeing. He has a soft spot for small dogs, especially long haired Chihuahuas and foreign rescues, inspired by his late dog, Luna, pictured. Outside of work he enjoys music gigs, food and the gym.

Ben has a wealth of retail experience under his belt, and is responsible for all Warehouse activities, ensuring all shipments are processed accurately and sent on time. Ben joined the team in 2020 and is a keen artist and rugby fan outside of work but is mostly kept busy entertaining his super energetic dog, Lia, who Ben rescued from Bosnia.

Jenny ensures our customers get the very best service and expert advice. With a veterinary background, she is a huge animal and dog lover, and her favourite part of the job is chatting with customers and seeing such a wonderful variety of dog breeds. Jenny joined the company in 2020 and is also known for always checking in with the team, she genuinely cares about people and brings a thoughtful, supportive presence to the workplace. Outside of work, she makes the best brownies and burns them off on long rambles with her English Springer Spaniel, Penny, who sits at the heart of Jen’s world!

Gemma’s passion for animal welfare led her to complete an HND in Animal Welfare Management. She has been offering her expert dog & sizing knowledge to customers since 2017. There is no question that she doesn’t know the answer to! Having owned many dogs, her heart will always lie with Border Collies. Her love of photography and wildlife combined, enable her to capture British wildlife whilst on her travels all over the UK.
